Safety & Protection Against Abuse
At Justlo, the safety of our users – especially minors – is our top priority. We enforce a zero-tolerance policy towards any content or behaviour that involves the sexual exploitation, abuse, or endangerment of children. This includes, but isn’t limited to:
-
Uploading, sharing, promoting, or creating any material that depicts or suggests child sexual abuse or exploitation
-
Attempting to contact minors for grooming, manipulation, or other inappropriate reasons
-
Creating user accounts by or for anyone under the minimum legal age
-
Any sexualised or inappropriate portrayal of minors, even if not explicit
Breaches will lead to immediate removal of content, permanent account suspension, and – where required – reporting to law enforcement or child protection authorities. We use a mix of automated detection tools and trained moderation staff to keep the platform safe.
Age Verification & Access Control
To prevent misuse, we apply strict age verification at sign-up. Users who don’t meet the legal age requirement are blocked from accessing any platform features. Our verification includes:
-
Government-issued ID checks (where applicable)
-
AI-powered pattern recognition
-
Ongoing manual reviews of flagged or suspicious accounts
Reporting & Moderation Tools
Users can report inappropriate content, messages, or user behaviour directly in the app. These reports:
-
Are promptly reviewed by a trained safety team with experience in abuse prevention
-
Are backed by automated alerts and behavioural monitoring that flag risky patterns
-
Are handled transparently – users receive updates on the status of their reports
Extra Safety Measures & Our Ongoing Commitment
Justlo is committed to going above and beyond in keeping our community safe. We’ve implemented:
-
A moderation team available 24/7, trained to follow Australian child protection standards
-
Real-time filtering of explicit content, including automatic nudity detection
-
Integration with international safety databases (e.g. NCMEC – National Center for Missing & Exploited Children)
-
Ongoing training for our staff and regular policy reviews to stay in line with legal and best practice standards
-
A Code of Conduct all users must agree to when signing up
Our Promise to a Safer Community
We believe dating and meeting people online should be safe, respectful, and enjoyable. If you ever feel unsafe or notice something off, use the in-app tools to report it straight away. Your actions help keep the whole community safer.
